Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) is a famous American author, and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She has a regular appearance on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File w/ Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Today. The Imus Breakfast Shows. Legal Lis is the Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl, who was born and grew up in Yakima within Washington State, matriculated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She holds a diploma of Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985), and an Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was previously the US Attorney. She served as the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was the principal investigating counsel to the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 through 2001. She ran the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
