sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946 as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. He's the oldest son of Francesco Stallone Jr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). Frank Stallone is his younger brother and actor. Childbirth complications led to the lower left portion of Sylvester's visage to be affected, resulting in the now iconic "snarling" look and slight slurred voice. Stallone was a part of his childhood in foster homes because of the unstable parent-child relationship. The couple divorced later. Stallone was a drama student at the American College in Switzerland before taking a flight to the University of Miami. Stallone left the school to explore acting in New York City.
