Heidi Watney, born May 19 1981 Heidi Watney was born on May 19, 1981. She is an American sportscaster from the US. The first time she was an National Merit Scholar. She attended the University of San Diego with an academic scholarship. She graduated with distinction in 2003. Watney competed in Miss California USA in 2002 and was the first third place. From September 2003 onwards, Watney worked for KMPH-TV (FOX 26) in Fresno. She began as a morning traffic reporter, before moving to the weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter in 2005. [3]Watney arrived in Massachusetts in 2008 and began her career at New England Sports Network (NESN). She was an official reporter on gamedays for the Boston Red Sox. Watney hosted Ultimate Red Sox Show as well as Red Sox Report. Watney started her career at Time Warner Cable SportsNet, reporting as a reporter for LA Galaxy.
